About Board Game Black Market

What Board Game Black Market is and why it exists.

Board Game Black Market watches Amazon prices on board games and tabletop games and flags it when something genuinely drops in price — not a "Sale" badge that doesn't mean much, but a real, measurable drop against what a game has actually been selling for over the last few months.

The site is run by one person with an automated price-tracking system doing the watching. New listings get checked every few hours; anything that clears our bar (see How We Pick Deals) gets posted here with a plain description of what changed and why it qualified.

This is a small, independent project, not a retailer and not affiliated with Amazon or any publisher. As an Amazon Associate, this site earns a commission from qualifying purchases made through the links here — that's the only way it's funded, and it doesn't change which deals get posted or how they're described.

If a listed price looks wrong, or a game shouldn't have qualified, that's a bug, not a judgment call — the filtering is mechanical, and mechanical filters occasionally let through something they shouldn't.
